Registration is Now Open! (Summer info coming very soon!)
- All classes meet once weekly from 4:15-5:45; All sessions run for five weeks
- Location is at the historic Howland Cultural Center at 477 Main street in Beacon
- Cost is $150 per 5 week session which includes all materials and fees
- Both classes this spring are designed for a mixed age group from 6 – 12 yr (Mature 5 year olds whom have completed or are currently enrolled in Kindergarten will be considered for mixed age classes)

Tuesday: Animal Portraits in Clay
April 23, 30, May 7, 14, 21
Favorite animals or family pets will be the inspiration for these unique portraits created in clay. Students will learn about relief sculpture and apply the additive (building material up) and subtractive (carving material away) techniques in their work. All pieces will be glazed and fired. (Mixed Ages)
Thursday: Creative Clay Planters
April 18, 25, May 2, 9, 16,
Students will watch their clay skills bloom as they create their own unique ceramic planters. Using sculpting, slab construction, texturing, and carving, they will design beautiful containers for growing plants and flowers. All creations will be glazed and fired, (Mixed Ages)
